NARCOTICS OFFICER - LAKE AREA NARCOTICS ENFORCEMENT GROUP


JOB VACANCY  POSTED:  May 6, 2022  NARCOTICS OFFICER - LAKE AREA NARCOTICS ENFORCEMENT GROUP   The Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group (LANEG) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of NARCOTICS OFFICER.   The Applicant must have a valid Missouri Driver’s License, High School Education and a valid Missouri POST license.    Annual starting salary range is $36,750 to $40,950 (paid every two weeks) dependent on experience.  Benefits include:   Vacation - Newly hired employees earn 5 days of paid vacation per year, with incremental increases for time in service.    Sick leave - Newly hired employees earn 5 days of paid sick leave for the first year, and 10 days of paid sick leave per year thereafter.  There is unlimited accrual amounts for sick leave.   Health and Life Insurance and Retirement Benefits - Health care and life insurance, as well as retirement benefits (LAGERS and CERF) are provided at no cost to the employee.    Paid Holidays - Employees are paid for 12 holidays       To request further information, please contact us at jason.millsap@mshp.dps.mo.gov.    NOTE:  This Narcotics Officer position is funded through federal grants and is contingent on annual grant renewal / acceptance.     TO APPLY:  Submit resume, complete with Law Enforcement work history, references and letter of interest, no later than Friday, May 20, 2022.  Interviews will be conducted in June.  Interested persons can email their resume to mcdonald.brand@mshp.dps.mo.gov or mail their resume and letter to: Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group PO Box 104596 Jefferson City, MO 65110-4596    LANEG is an equal opportunity employer.
